Happy Fall, you all!

Hello everyone!

Autumn is a season I particularly like for its beautiful rich colours, so I decided to make a seasonal card for my Glimps DT post. The image I used is called Autumn in the Swing.

First I printed my image at the size corresponding the die I knew I was going to use. I quickly coloured the background in YR16 and YR18, without trying to blend the colours and without trying to avoid the leaves since I had planned to colour them in black to have some contrast with the orange.

I then coloured my cute character in Copics (see list at the bottom of the post).

To make my colours pop a bit more, I coloured the leaves in black.

I then die cut my image with a Lawn Fawn Stitched die and I applied a bit of Distress Inks around the edges with a blending tool.

At last, I stamped a sentiment and added touches of gold with a gel pen in the black leaves and also a few dots on my orange background.
